Welcome to The New Riviera
We headed up the creative initiatives for the global launch of Baha Mar, a $3.5B luxury resort in Nassau, The Bahamas. In addition to the short film and lifestyle library, we created a print/digital campaign featuring epic moments of arrival using dynamic, motion-based imagery. A consistent visual language of stripes, paired with iconic vehicles against the signature blue Bahamian waters, conveyed the glamour, luxury and excitement of this amazing new playground.
The campaign was featured in a multi-page spread in Vanity Fair, running alongside an editorial on the Golden Age of travel. Corresponding ads ran in travel and luxury publications such as Travel + Leisure and Departures.
Station takeovers in major transit hubs such as New York Penn Station, built anticipation in the weeks before opening. We managed and executed the mechanical files of each and every ad space in these venues.
Digital initiatives included a robust website, rich media banners and homepage takeovers. The ads were promoted widely across social media to generate word-of-mouth buzz and increase pre-opening bookings for vacationers, as well as wedding couples and business travelers.
Since opening, Baha Mar, comprised of Baha Mar Hotel & Casino, Grand Hyatt, SLS and Rosewood, has consistently ranked as a premier destination in the Bahamas and the world. A former winner of the Caribbean’s Leading New Resort by the World Travel Awards, it made Travel + Leisure’s It List, comprising editors’ picks of the best new hotels in the world, and was recognized by Condé Nast Traveler’s Readers’ Choice Awards.
I had the great pleasure to work alongside EVERGIB and
bear witness to the creative firepower they possess. There is really no job they
cannot tackle or take on. They are intelligent and curious, and bring multiple
solutions to everything they do. This field is a passion for them, and it shows in the
end result. A win-win for any client who chooses to utilize their skills.
