A brand as dynamic as its speakers.

The Richmond Forum is a premier subscription series that produces multiple programs each year featuring some of the biggest, most influential people in the world. We partnered with the Forum team to evolve their brand to better reflect their vision of elevating public discourse and serving as a model for the nation. To effectively do this, we developed a brand strategy that included a detailed competitive analysis among similar entities – both local and national. This crucial examination allowed us to identify what makes the Forum unique and bring it to life in the creative.

The brand refresh includes an updated logo with new colors, fonts, and graphic elements. Exuding a renewed energy for the brand, the bold new aesthetic enhances the organization's commitment to creating inclusive, accessible programming featuring diverse speakers.

The Forum’s location in Richmond, Virginia taps into an inherently ownable aspect of the brand. As the former Capital of the Confederacy, Richmond has undergone a deep introspection in recent years that correlates with the multitude of social, political and cultural issues facing the nation today.

“The conversations that begin on the Forum stage echo throughout the community. We are at the forefront of public discourse in the region and can be a model for the nation. Our visual identity needs to reflect that.”

— Heather Crislip, Executive Director

In conjunction with the brand refresh, a stunning film created by Cream animation studio further amplifies the Forum's new positioning. Leveraging themes of curiosity, tolerance and learning, it elegantly conveys how conversation can lead not only to connection, but enlightenment.

2023-2024 season lineup

EVERGIB completed a remarkable brand rejuvenation – taking our existing identity, infusing it with vibrancy and buoyancy, and breathing new life into our brand's look and feel. We have received excellent feedback from our subscribers and have found that the new vibrant color palette and modern, elegant logo provide more options and dynamism to our presentation of The Richmond Forum. EVERGIB evaluated our position in the market and pushed us to consider all potential directions before settling on a refresh that felt at once both authentic to our organization and exciting to our community. Thank you, EVERGIB!
