PhotoQuest Adventures (PQA) is a boutique travel company specializing in intimate photography workshops and unique cultural experiences around the globe. Working in a highly competitive marketplace, they needed to refresh their brand to stand out and remain relevant. We developed a strategy to position PQA as an industry leader with a commitment to off-the-beaten-path adventures.

The streamlined logo cleverly pairs "photo" and "quest" into a single word. The intersecting point creates an ownable avatar reminiscent of a classic film roll. The refined aesthetic not only elevates the brand, but compliments the gorgeous photography PQA is known for.

The revamped website showcases PhotoQuest’s large format imagery, creating a dynamic experience that reflects the immersive nature of a PQA trip. Many images are taken by customers which highlights the quality of the workshops, as well as the incredible experiences.

The rebrand was unveiled in the national publication, Photo District News, to a relevant audience of photography enthusiasts. For maximum exposure, it was followed up with collateral advertising and an engaging branded content piece offering a glimpse into a PQA trip.

Results

After the brand launch, PQA saw an immediate increase in website traffic and workshop attendance. The website garnered attention from national public broadcaster, PBS, who invited co-founders, Mirjam Evers and Najat Nabat, to be featured on The Informed Series with Rob Lowe. This rare opportunity offered PQA invaluable impressions and best of all, free advertising and publicity.
