Since its founding, Startup Virginia has experienced unprecedented growth. The team meets entrepreneurs’ diverse needs through broad offerings, encompassing relationship building, high-impact education and events, and collaborative space. This past year, Startup Virginia incubated 79 companies with 53% companies led by women, veterans, and/or Black, Indigenous and People of Color, while also assisting over 3,600 individuals and 170+ companies. It currently serves 79 incubator companies, 45 coworking members, 155 mentors, 31 corporate partners and 25 investors and boasts a 95% overall satisfaction with startups. Most recently, Startup Virginia received the Gold Award in Entrepreneurship from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).

When we first met Rachel and Brian, we were brainstorming how to launch a planned nonprofit incubator in downtown Richmond. Rachel took all of our research and thoughts and distilled the information to develop a smart positioning for our brand and created clear, compelling messaging that effectively articulates our vision to this day. Brian came up with an impactful brand aesthetic. Not only did he design all of our print and digital materials, he designed and developed our website and has maintained it ever since. We are so thankful the EVERGIB team is part of the Startup Virginia community. They have played an instrumental part in our success to date and we hope they will continue to do so for many years.
